For a while now, I've been slowly creating a free tutorial series on the topic of Blender, UE5, Blueprints, Niagara, Construction Scripts.
In that, we create a portal from scratch - we make the art for it (meshes, VFX and all) + we then create Blueprints functionality so you can teleport the player from location A to location B. Or if you wanted, from Level A to Level B.
Above, you can watch the latest video in the series. In there, we talk about mipmaps and how they create a seam in our VFX polar vortex (material graph work).
Give the series a go. I will be very happy if you find useful stuff and learn things from these series. So far they've been fun to make, but can be demanding at times.
As such, if you enjoy it, please comment and let me know! Any comments and likes inside these videos help me tons.
